National Ice Centre and Motorpoint Arena Nottingham Conference and Events - Accessibility

Overview

We’re proud that our venue is easily accessible for visitors with mobility difficulties and accessibility needs. We work closely with ‘Attitude Is Everything’ who improve disabled people’s access to live music by working in partnership with audiences, artists and the music industry to implement a charter of best practice in the UK. We have been awarded with a Gold level of the Charter of Best Practice. We also work with ‘CredAbility’, a quality assurance system committed to supporting disabled customers. We are a CredAbility Verified Accessible venue.

Environmental Policy

We work hard to keep our environmental impact to a minimum, helping you in turn to reduce the carbon footprint of your event!

We recycle 86% of our waste, and we’re constantly striving to find new ways to lessen our impact on the environment.

We’re proud to be an Industry Green (IG mark) two star accredited venue, reducing our carbon emissions wherever possible and striving to improve our environmental performance.

All of our power, heating and hot water comes from energy recovery, using hot water and electricity generated from incinerating waste at the local Eastcroft Energy from Waste (EfW) facility.

We’re also very water conscious, whether it’s reusing water from industrial processes to create ice, or reducing waste water in the venue.
